These are the questions I frequently see on Facebook. I've included a lot of links in case you want to read more about a particular question. (Anything in blue is a link to more information.) The links aren't necessarily the latest news on a project, but the most definitive explanation for the question. I will try to keep this updated. When a sign goes up on a building announcing a new store, I can probably remove it from the list. Let me know if I missed any questions.
What are they building next to St Joans?
A new rectory to house 3 priests. Pictures of the plan are located here. This was approved at the 7/19/2018 Planning Board meeting.

What are they building at Renaissance Square?
In addition to Virtua, which is already open, current plans include:
- A drive thru Dunkin Donuts (closest building to Produce Junction)
- The large building right next to DD is the new home of Evesham Mortgage on the top floor. The lower floor will be retail, and tenants right now include a nail salon, Gaetano’s and the Hair Cuttery.
- The former Superfresh will house a daycare center (Children of America).
- Between Superfresh and Virtua are a few large storefronts yet to be leased
- There will be freestanding restaurants from the La Scala Restaurant group - La Scala (Italian) and La Vez (Mexican). Construction of those restaurants has not yet begun as of 2/2019.
- Plus 338 luxury apartments.
I heard PJs was coming?
PJ Whelihan’s purchased the liquor license that previously belonged to Casa Carolla. They haven’t yet announced plans for that license.
What about Royal Farms?
There are two approved locations in Marlton, one at the former Scaturro’s (next to Target) and one at the former Firstrust Bank site (next to Marlton 8)
