Evesham Town Council Reorg Meeting 1/2/2019

The yearly Town Council reorganization occurred on January 2, 2019.  The meeting began with the swearing in of the new members of Town Council.

Governor Phil Murphy swore in Jaclyn Veasy as Mayor of Evesham.

Governor Phil Murphy also swore in Pat Hansen as Town Councilwoman.

State Senate President Steve Sweeney swore in Heather Cooper as Town Councilwoman.

Councilwoman Heather Cooper was appointed Deputy Mayor by a vote of 5-0.

After a short recess, the following resolutions were passed to appoint the township professionals.  All votes were 5-0 unless otherwise noted.  When looking up on the firms websites, if I was able to easily find the hometown of the professional, I have listed that as well.  Changes indicated in bold:

Following these appointments, there were appointments made to the Library Committee, Senior Citizen Advisory Committee, and the Town Watch Advisory Committee.

Resolution 21-2019 established the calendar of Town Council meetings.  Town Council will be meeting twice per month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month.  The public meeting will begin at 7pm (change from 6:30pm).
