Evesham Retail Updates 4/13/2019 - Vionic Shoes Coming to the Promenade, Lots of Photos From Around Town
Here are some updates from around town. Some of these pictures have previously appeared on my Facebook page, but I've gathered everything here since my last blog post.
Vionic Shoes will be opening at the Promenade this spring between Soft Surroundings and Altar'd States (two fairly recent additions to the Promenade). They are currently hiring for the store at VionicSagemore@gmail.com. (As a side note, Altar'd States will appear before the Zoning Board this Monday, as they want to make some changes and/or additions to their front signage. They have probably the coolest sign in town, I hope they don't change it.)
Also in the Promenade, Gymboree has gone out of business.
Coming up at the Promenade is their annual Food Truck Festival on April 28th. This is a fun time, though give yourself some time because the lines get long.
This sign for Dynamic Tint is new. I'm not sure if the store is new or not, but it looks like they have a couple of bays inside the Meineke building on Route 70.
At the building next door on Route 70, Primo Hoagies is looking for a tenant. These two 'For Lease' signs have changed.
The sign below bugs me. The sign in front of CVS has CVS and Arby's logos with a space for one additional logo. Just beyond it, you see a Republic Bank sign. Back in June 2018, as the Republic Bank was being built, they appeared before the Planning Board requesting a variance to place their own sign. It seemed like a logical request from them.
When the shopping center was first planned, there were to be 3 stores. Arby's and CVS placed their logos on the sign, and its been that way since 2007. Now that Republic Bank has opted for their own sign, there is an empty space on the sign. (There is an identical sign in front of Arby's). It probably should have been a requirement for the developer or Republic to work with CVS or Arby's to add a third logo- a 'Minute Clinic' logo, or possibly just a 'We Have The Meats' logo.
One other odd this about the CVS/Republic/Arby's shopping center. On January 29, 2019, the center was purchased by Verizon. And I certainly cannot figure out why.
Starbucks signs went up this week on Route 70 next to Pizza Hut.. They open May 2.
There are no updates to report at Renaissance. The inside of the new Dunkin Donuts has been framed out, but its a construction site, so I can't get pictures. Same with Sprouts. They have blocked off the sidewalk in front of Sprouts and it is all torn up, so no pictures from there either.
