Evesham Retail Update 7/7/19 - News and Photos from around town

Here is a collection of all the retail news around Evesham since my last post, which was a month ago on June 7.  I have reported on most of these in individual Facebook posts, so there isn't much new here, but a bunch of photos of what is going on.

The fencing has been removed from the front of Olga's Diner, though it still remains around the side (probably because the parking lot is in a state of disrepair).  If you look at the front view, you can see that the lights that will hang above the tables have been installed.  Still no word on an opening date.

Verizon Wireless opened on June 29th (3 days later than expected) at the new Marlton Point Plaza, joining Starbucks and Pizza Hut.

Marlton Point Plaza - I'm surprised big corporations Pizza Hut and Verizon Wireless are slow with their sign, but Lavender has their's up already!

Mission BBQ is still planning to open on August 19th.  The fencing has been removed from around the building, which means the exterior construction has been completed.  I have also received credible information that the storefront next to Mission BBQ will be a Sports Clips Haircuts.  I'll confirm that as soon as I can.

Mission BBQ is hiring!

Gud2Go Food Store construction is going a little slower than they expected but they are hopeful to be open by the end of the month.  They are located on Route 70 next to Ciconte's Pizza, where Radio Shack was located.

Dunkin'  at Renaissance Square (former KMart) is getting real close.

Every so often a thread will discuss whether our town is Evesham or Marlton.  Since a thread once again appeared this week, it seems only fitting to let you know that Dunkin' has cast their vote.  This photo is a sign on the wall at the new Dunkin.

Wair Studio Salon at Plaza 70 has opened
The Valero Gas Station and Convenience store at Route 70 and Cropwell was demolished, making was for a Chase Bank

Odds and Ends:

  • Frozen BOBA at Marlton Crossing opened on June 22nd, replacing Let's Yo
  • Construction continues at the Chinese seafood restaurant at the Plaza 73 Shops.  (Across Route 73 from Kohl's).  Walls are now in place but there is a lot still to be done.  They have it papered up pretty well so I cannot get good enough photos to publish.
  • I have heard from multiple sources that the Crisp Kitchen in the View at Marlton (LA Fitness center) will be a cryotherapy center.
  • The new pizza place at Village on the Greene will be named Casa Nostra (not Guido's Italian Eatery as written on the building permit)
