Evesham Retail Update 11/11/2019 - Bhan Thai, Heart & Paw, Monrow & Kent Coming Soon!

It's been a busy month in Evesham, with a lot of changes in the retail scene.  If you are a regular reader of my Facebook page, there isn't any new news here, though there are a bunch of new photos. But once a month I like to collect all the news and put them in blog form.

Heart & Paw will be opening up soon at the former mattress store next to Trader Joe's.  They will offer veterinary care, salon services, boarding and doggy day care all under one roof.  They are expected to open in early 2020.

Bleu Bear Bakery of Haddonfield has announced they will be opening Bleu Bear Market in the Allison Shopping Center, at the former location of the Lucky 7 Deli (and Wawa before that).  The market will be a bakery with donuts and other confectionaries, along with a dedicated grocery, plus prepared foods, salads, gelato and sandwiches.  The entire market will be GLUTEN FREE.  They are hoping for an early January 2020 opening.

73 Seafood Restaurant at the Plaza 73 Shops is in the middle of their soft opening, which is scheduled to last until November 14th.  I don't have any information on their menu and their website isn't complete or functional, so I won't cite it here.  But the restaurant appears to be a Chinese Seafood restaurant.  This shopping center is on Route 73 North just north of the old Marlton Circle, before you get to the new Olga's.

Speaking of Olga's, it had its opening on October 22nd.  I first reported about Olga's on May 3rd, 2018, when they were preparing to go in front of the Planning Board with their plans for a new diner.  From the time of the approval to opening, it took almost 18 months.

Monroe & Kent Home is opening a new store in the former Charming Charlie space at Marlton Square.  The store is a new business venture to support their website, and it a 3 month pilot to see how the local community responds to their offering.  They will offer furniture, lighting and decor, in addition to a makers market.  If the pilot is successful, they expect to remain open.

The former Charming Charlie will soon be an Monroe & Kent Home store

Bhan Thai of Mount Laurel will soon be opening a 2nd location in Marlton, at the home of the former Andale at the View at Marlton (LA Fitness Shopping Center).  They found that their location in Mount Laurel was some times overbooked so they figured it was time to expand.  Expect a similar menu and experience to their location in Mount Laurel, with the addition of some outdoor seating.  They hope to open in early January.  You can view their menu here: http://bhanthaicuisine.com/

Pizza Hut finally got their sign.  They opened in February.  It took 9 months for a sign.

The tree-lighting at the Promenade has been scheduled

The Nail Garden in the Raymour & Flanigan Shops (Former Shops at Borders) got their new sign.

Spirit Halloween has closed up shop.  The Borders is empty once again.

The Chase Bank at 70 and Cropwell is nearing completion.  Expect an early 2020 opening.

A sign for Royal Farms next to the Marlton 8 Theater went up on October 30th.

With Love Penina is closing after 38 years in town, most of it on Main Street
