An update on our municipal election:
On election day, November 3, 2020, two seats of the Evesham Town Council are up for election. These two seats are currently held by Bob DiEnna and Ken D'Andrea, elected in 2016 for a 4 year term. Bob DiEnna has chosen not to run again. The Town Council is made up of 5 seats - 4 council members and a Mayor, all with equal votes. In 2018, two council seats and the Mayoral chair were up for vote for 4 year terms - those seats were won by Councilwoman Pat Hansen, Councilwoman (and Deputy Mayor) Heather Cooper, and Mayor Jackie Veasy.
A few things have changed since I last wrote about the election in March, so it was time for some updates..

Yesterday, the Evesham Republican Club announced a change in their candidates. They had previously announced their candidates of Andrew Wilson and Mark Mancuso. According to a release yesterday, Mr Mancuso was withdrawing from the race and Jason Inglessis (the Treasurer of 'Wilson and Mancuso for Town Council') would be running in his stead. The candidates will have a webpage at : https://wilsoninglessis.com/, though it is not live yet. I will update this post when it is live. A new Facebook page is not live yet either.

In addition to those two tickets, a third ticket will appear. Running under the "It's About Evesham" party, current Councilman Ken D'Andrea and running-mate Stephen Fortino. I cannot find a campaign page for them yet. Again, I will update this post when available.
And since I know this post will spawn a few questions, let me preemptively answer them now. I don't know why Mark Mancuso withdrew from the race. No information was released, just a statement from the Evesham Republican Club "With the announcement of the pending withdrawal of former candidate Mark Mancuso..."
And I don't know why Councilman Ken D'Andrea is running as an independent. He was elected in 2016 as a Republican. I don't know if he is still a registered republican and I don't know whose decision it was to not have him run as a Republican, his or the Evesham Republican Club, or perhaps it was a mutual parting of the ways.
