1/12/2019 Evesham Retail Update - Concord Pet Food & Supplies Coming, Woodloft Furniture Closing

Concord Pet Food & Supplies is coming to Marlton.  The Galleria at Marlton, which has recently been renovated has a few vacancies - one of them will be filled by Concord Pet Supplies.  See the ad on the lower right.  I haven't found confirmation on Concord's website.

I'm not sure which of the three empty spaces they will be filling.

There was some construction going on at the space right next to Carpet One, however this sign, ordering construction to cease, showed up on Thursday on the front window.  Never seen a red sign before, they are usually yellow.

Sprouts has finally confirmed they will be moving to Marlton Crossing.  While it has been widely reported, this was the first official confirmation from them.  Their press release stated they will be opening some time in the 2nd Quarter and the store is expected to bring about 140 jobs.

Woodloft Furniture on Route 70 is going out of business.  They were originally located in Designer's Court but moved to Route 70 more than a decade ago.

Korner Bistro has closed.  Marlton first learned of this restaurant back in March from the sign below.  It officially opened April 19th.

However, as of January 4th, they have closed.

Bella Caffe at the Shoppes at Elmwood is aiming to open at the end of January.  The sign is up!

Yoga Revive at Crispin Square is aiming to open on January 21st.

There is a Zoning Board meeting on January 28th which will be meeting to hear motions on the proposed Royal Farms at Lincoln Drive, at the Firstrust Bank Center.  At a prior meeting, it was determined that the project as proposed violated zoning ordinances.  The developer for Royal Farms will be asking for a variance. You can find my summary of the prior meeting and the requested variance here,

Fleet Feet at Marlton Crossing has closed after 21 years, as the owners have retired.
