A lot of little updates to get to, along with a plethora of pictures.
Sprouts announced several weeks ago that their grand opening will be on June 5th. As the construction on the outside of the building is mostly completed, they have begun to work on the inside. And the first official Sprouts signage is now on site. Its a temporary sign, but I still like seeing it.

Construction continues at the Starbucks/Pizza Hut/Lavender strip mall. I think its official name is Marlton Plaza. I was surprised when Lavender went up in the middle of the remaining three stores. I would have thought that the property manager would have tried to leave two open spaces next to each other, in case a larger retailer ever want to move in. But there are now open retail sites on either side of Lavender.

Lavender Mani Pedi 3/31/2019 - I assume those blue things coming out of the ground are electric power, and salon chairs will be placed over top |

Hair Salon at Plaza 70 - October 2018 |
And here is what it looks like now. Seems like they don't want nosy people taking pictures. There's a little cutout in the paper on the door to allow them to post their construction permit when it is received. But even that little cutout is papered over.

I had forgotten that when the Mission BBQ was approved that another storefront in the same building was approved as well. The outside construction at Mission has been completed enough that construction on the inside is under way, and I noticed the interior wall separating the space into two stores for the first time. It will probably be difficult to see in the pictures.

I also have a
time lapse of Mission BBQ photos since construction began.
Back in October I reported that a new Chinese Restaurant would be moving into the Plaza 73 shops. At the time, they were still working to get permits and finish paperwork. Permits have been received and construction can commence on a new restaurant known as '
73 Seafood Restaurant'. Not sure if that is the official or just a placeholder at this time, but that's what it says on the permits.
Nailed It DIY has announced that they have signed a lease in Crispin Square to open a studio. You can read about them
here. They will be near Kettle and Grill, between the nail salon and the tanning salon.
Valero Gas and Food at the corner of Route 70 and Cropwell Road will close on Friday April 12th. The food store will be moving to the old Radio Shack building down the road. Back in June, the Planning Board approved plans to build a Chase Bank on the site.
I documented the plans on my blog.
And the rest in photos....

I put out these retail updates every two to three weeks, depending on how much is going on. If you know of any stores coming or going, feel free to email or instant message me. You can email me at MarltonNeil@yahoo.com.
