Evesham Retail Update 10/7/2019 - Mostly Just a Bunch of Photos

It has been a pretty quiet month in retail in Evesham, so there isn't much to report.  But here's a collection of what has changed since my last retail post of 9/7.

Meetinghouse Square
There are a couple of changes to report in Meetinghouse Square.  The empty storefront that had previous been a karate studio has been leased.  While the store is still empty, a new sign was placed in front of the store indicating a jewelry store will soon arrive.

In the same center, a 'For Lease' sign has been put up at the Armed Forces Recruitment office.

Seeing as a new US Marines Career Center opened at the Plaza 73 Shops, it is no surprise this office is closing.

At the Plaza 73 Shops, the new 73 Seafood Restaurant looks like it is getting close to opening.  I don't have pictures from the inside because they have floor to ceiling curtains, but you can peek inside.  The sign went up recently.

The entrance to the Plaza 70 Shops in front of Produce Junction is being moved.  The new entrance will be directly across the street from the entrance to the new Dunkin at Renaissance Square.  This is being paid for by the developer of Renaissance Square and according to last week's Town Council meeting, should be completed by October 11.

Expedia CruiseShipCenters will open up in Greentree Square on October 12th.  The office is situated next to Domenica's.

The Nail Garden in Raymour and Flanagan Plaza is progressing.  No opening date announced yet.

Refacing continues at Marlton Crossing

A dumpster has reappeared at the former GBoys location on Route 70

Construction progresses at new the new Chase Bank at Route 70 and Cropwell Road

Modfit sign at Allison Shopping Center has been taken down.  Modfit closed several years ago, and Sculpt 360 had occupied the location until a couple of months ago

Lucky 7 Deli sign at Allison Shopping Center has been taken down.  It closed several month ago.

State Farm sign has gone up at Crispin Square - it opened last month

Nene's on Main Street finally got their sign up

Verizon sign went up today.  They opened on August 7, so it took 2 months for their sign.  Still no Pizza Hut sign, despite opening in February!

Odds and Ends

  • Still no word on an opening date for Olga's.  While I have seen a couple dates circulating, I haven't seen anything official.  I've reached out to management but haven't heard back.
  • A building permit was issued for Children of America at Renaissance Square, and construction has begun (again)
  • You can now access the new Dunkin at Renaissance Square from Route 70
  • There has been no progress made on Bistro Di Marino.  The Courier Post had reported an expected October opening, though I mentioned last month that time frame appeared to be aggressive.
